2026 IPDLN conference

Erasmus University Rotterdam

"This conference brings together people from around the world, all working on some aspect of data linkage. Insights shared can spark ideas to ultimately improve health and health policy."
Dennis Culhane, PhD, Professor, School of Social Policy & Practice, University of Pennsylvania

The 2026 IPDLN Conference will place particular emphasis on empirical studies using population and administrative datasets, the transformative potential of administrative data linkage, methodological innovations that advance the field of population data science, and ethical and legal implications.

The Call for Abstracts is now open for oral, poster, and rapid-fire presentations.  The call for workshops is now closed. Submissions for both were invited until December 14, 2025.

“Knowledge exchange”

Population data tends to be inherently national, but we learn so much from international collaboration and knowledge exchange. The IDPLN is one of the most exciting conferences for researchers and policy makers who work with linked population and administrative data.

“Revolutionary developments”

We are seeing rapid and revolutionary developments in the linkage and use of population scale administrative data. The IDPLN is the only conference that covers the technical, legal, methodological, and scientific challenges involved and we are extremely excited at ODISSEI to be hosting the 2026 edition in the city of Rotterdam.
